My name is Doug Lynch, I am 62 yrs. old.  I was born with dentinogenesis imperfecta, which is a hereditary disease where the teeth are small and translucent/yellow-brown in color.

When I was sixteen, I had all my teeth removed and replaced with a full set of dentures. Over the next 40 years, I experienced bone loss of both my upper and lower jaw. Because of this bone loss I was in severe pain any time I tried to eat with the dentures.

About 3 years ago, my dentist referred me to Dr. Blaeser who had the experience and expertise to fix this problem. The solution would include multiple procedures to include bone augmentation, implants and a fixed prosthesis. Presently my upper prosthesis is completed and the implants for my lower jaw are in place and ready for a new prosthesis. 

My particular situation was more involved and sometimes painful, but Dr. Blaeser and his team have been informative, patient and caring throughout this whole process. I was made aware of all risks involved. 

Dr. Blaeser explained in detail exactly what he would be doing at every visit, and what to expect as far as pain and recuperation times after each procedure. I have invested a lot of time and money into this but the quality of life that I have now compared to always being in pain is well worth it. I feel now that I have a very natural smile cosmetically and I am free of pain!
